Happy New Year! I trust that you had a wonderful time with your family and friends. I also pray that you had a lot of rest and time to catch up with lots of fun and special memories with your children.
We had several opportunities as a family to reach out to people that were in need and lonely. God especially touched our hearts to help children in need this Christmas. It is a joy to come along side of God's plan and cooperate with what He is already doing. What a privilege it is to serve Him!
We are so happy that two of our children accepted Jesus in their heart a while back and have professed their faith in front of the church. Our son called his dad to let him know that he is now adopted twice, by his father here on earth and his Father in Heaven. God is amazing!
Please continue to pray for the Hope for 100: Families for the Fatherless new campaign of Green Acres Baptist Church that will soon kick off. Our Forever Families group will serve as the post-adoption ministry. We will have the last session of the day at the "If You Were Mine" Family Life conference on January 31, 2009.
